Penske Logistics LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee drivers at a Penske location in Alabama. The role includes leading hourly staff, scheduling, and enforcing safety and process standards to meet customer requirements and cost objectives.

The position involves supervising daily tasks such as loading/unloading, dispatch, and ensuring accurate documentation, with bonus eligibility tied to performance and location metrics.

Qualificações

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Provide operational leadership to individual contributors and hourly workforce to ensure execution of daily tasks including driver deliveries, loading/unloading of trailers, and customer service operations.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading and unloading, dispatch and documentation control; conduct team meetings.
• Evaluate and recommend changes in methods to increase productivity; assist in new associate training.
• Provide relief coverage for operational duties when associates are off shift; ensure safe operations and correct exception resolution.
• Complete records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion; monitor attendance and performance; coach and counsel as needed.
