Job summary

ITS Logistics in Kentucky is seeking a Terminal Coordinator to support dock operations for a major customer. You will oversee terminal flow, verify paperwork, and ensure drivers meet safety requirements, working overnight Sunday through Friday (Tuesday-Saturday) 11:30pm–8:00am.

The role emphasizes clear communication with drivers and facility staff, proactive problem solving, and accurate updating of systems to maintain visibility and safety across operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet, transportation, Warehouse operations or third-party logistics strongly desired.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Interpersonal and relationship-building skills with customers and drivers.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven and high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of the Kentucky region and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure drivers adhere to terminal flow on site.
• Collaborate with drivers to ensure on-time arrivals and departures.
• Monitor trailer pool to elevate equipment shortages.
• Complete safety checklists for every load entering and departing the facility.
• Interact professionally with facility staff, drivers, and ITS team members.
• Escalate safety violations to ITS Reno Center leadership.
• Communicate safety expectations proactively.
• Verify information on paperwork is correct.
• Update systems with current information for visibility and transparency.
