Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead cable operations and warehouse activities. You will supervise 30-70 hourly associates and 4-6 coordinators, drive Lean improvements, and coordinate staffing to optimize flow and output.

You will coach teams, develop training plans, ensure safety and ISO standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Strong data analytics and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years in manufacturing or 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated initiative, direction, and collaborative outcomes.
• Demonstrated root cause analysis and fast problem resolution.
• Computer skills: Excel (basic formulas) and Word.
• Lean and 5S experience (SMED and Kaizen events).
• Data analytics using Power BI/Excel to identify production trends.

Responsibilities

• Direct work in production or warehouse to meet goals and costs.
• Develop, train and coach employees; recognize high performance.
• Balance staffing and machine assignments for flow and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement and lean projects.
• Manage training plans and ensure safety and ISO compliance.
• Monitor attendance and payroll accuracy; ensure on-time shipments.
