Job summary

You will manage staffing, training, and performance, promote safety, handle P&L responsibilities, and participate in succession planning by developing career paths and promoting a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in daily store operations across departments
• Mentor and coach staff to meet customer service, sales and company standards
• Manage staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs
• Promote succession planning by developing career paths and identifying development needs
• Document and apply disciplinary actions and assist with terminations
• Oversee P&L responsibilities, drive sales and minimize shrink
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-presented store environment
• Ensure Meijer Friendly Initiative is reflected in team meetings and customer interactions
