Job summary

Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional to guide day-to-day operations, staffing, and development across multiple department areas. You will focus on delivering superb customer service, achieving sales goals, and maintaining store standards through mentoring and operational discipline.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related retail experience required.
• One year of management experience required.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store (meat, bakery, produce, deli) are helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide direction to team members.
• Ability to resolve conflicts by addressing root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions and teach suggestive selling.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet store needs.
• Drive sales while maintaining customer service and store standards.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet performance goals.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation during peak hours.
• Ensure safety, attendance, and compliance with company policies.
