Qualifications

• 2–5 years in logistics/supply chain.
• High School diploma required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in supervision is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Customer-focused and able to solve problems.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook; learn multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a salaried team with performance reviews and goal setting.
• Provide instructions via email and phone to personnel.
• Escalate customer inquiries as first line of support.
• Assist in bringing on new customers and implementations.
• Prioritize time-sensitive situations and scheduling.
• Coordinate deliveries and maintain excellent customer service.
• monitor KPIs and ensure on-time shipments.
• Negotiate rates with carriers on a spot basis.
• Analyze data for continuous improvements and cost savings.
• Cover business needs during vacations or illness; other duties as assigned.
