Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking an operations supervisor to lead hourly staff across driver deliveries, loading/unloading, cross docking and customer service. The role includes scheduling, performance management, and adherence to financial controls.

The position requires travel as needed and support for recruitment and training in a night shift (10:00 pm - 8:00 am). Salary range is $61,000-$83,400 annually with bonus eligibility based on performance and location metrics.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills are required.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel and pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable, interview hourly associates and provide recommendations for hire, monitor attendance and productivity and provide counseling or recognition as needed.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and proper documentation and procedure control, evaluate and recommend changes to increase dispatch/warehouse productivity, assist in new associate training, provide relief coverage, and ensure operational systems and reports are accurate.
