Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a single warehouse location, directing hourly staff in tasks such as loading/unloading and cross-docking to meet customer needs and cost objectives.

The role emphasizes process improvement, team leadership, and adherence to safety and operational standards, with a Monday-Thursday shift and an annual salary in the shown range.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication skills required.
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ownership and responsibility to run the operation with urgency.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with associates and external customers.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to make decisions independently and drive change.
• Experience with inventory management system preferred.
• Regular, full attendance and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to hourly workforce, ensuring daily tasks align with objectives.
• Supervise processes including scheduling, loading/unloading, and cross-docking.
• Make corrective actions and disciplinary decisions up to written warnings; participate in hiring.
• Lead team meetings and monitor performance, attendance, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, financial, and policy procedures; manage reports and records.
