APPLEDORN SOUTH ASSISTED LIVING AND MEMORY CARE in Michigan seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead resident care staff and ensure high-quality daily care. You will oversee shift operations, verify service plans are followed, and support staff performance with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and follow directions in English.
• Caregiving certification or experience preferred (CNA/CENA/MA/LPN).
• Leadership and supervisory skills preferred.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Must complete Heritage Property Management Med Tech Certification and pass test.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise resident services staff and daily care delivery.
• Ensure resident care per service plans.
• Update resident assessments and care plans as needed.
• Communicate with health professionals, families, and care partners.
• Lead emergency responses to ensure resident safety.
• Complete required documentation for incidents and injuries.
• Conduct staff performance reviews and provide coaching.
• Assist residents with ADLs and life enrichment activities.
