Job summary

Appledorn South Assisted Living and Memory Care seeks a Shift Supervisor for the 3rd shift (6PM–6AM). The role leads resident care staff and ensures adherence to care plans in a busy Michigan living center. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits apply.

The position requires reading/writing English, caregiving experience or certification (CNA/CENA/MA/LPN), and strong leadership. Med Tech certification training and CPR may be required, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and follow directions in English.
• Caregiving experience or certification preferred: CNA, CENA, MA, or LPN.
• Leadership, supervisory and communication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise resident services staff and daily care delivery.
• Ensure residents receive care per service plans.
• Complete and update resident assessments and care plans as needed.
• Communicate with Licensed Health Care Professionals, families and care partners regarding resident conditions, medications and treatments.
• Respond to and lead emergency situations to ensure resident safety.
• Complete required documentation for residents, staff and visitor incidents or injuries.
• Deliver staff coaching and counseling as needed.
• Train staff as assigned to meet living center goals.
