Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Current enrollment in an accredited RN program with successful completion of at least one semester.
• Participation in an approved Work Study Program affiliated with the school of nursing or Kaweah Health/Unitek nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care after competencies are validated.
• Respond to patient call lights within two minutes.
• Greet patients and families; identify self and role.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to policy.
• Document care provided in the EMR promptly after care.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Provide assistance with meals and activities of daily living.
