Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA is seeking a Student Nurse Aide to support licensed nursing staff and provide holistic patient care under the supervision of an RN preceptor.

You will perform duties once competencies are validated, assist with activities of daily living, respond to call lights promptly, and document care in the EMR. Enrollment in an accredited RN program and ongoing transcript submission are required.

Competenze

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Preferred: California Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program with at least one semester completed.

Mansioni

• Respond to patient call lights within two minutes as assigned.
• Greet patients and family members in a friendly, professional manner; identify self by name and role.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient care information.
• Assist nursing staff in tasks delegated by the RN.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bath, ambulation, oral care, etc.).
• Collect and record intake/output, weight, height, and vital signs as delegated.
• Document all care provided in the EMR as soon after care occurs as possible.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
