Job summary

DIS-TRAN Steel, part of Crest Industries, is seeking experienced Production Welders for night shifts at its Pineville facility. Qualifications

• Ability to interpret blueprints and read a tape measure.
• Welding certification or prior welding experience with successful completion of DIS-TRAN Welder II test.
• Capable of producing complete joint penetration welds per AWS D1.1.
• High quality welds across various materials; adhere to weld procedures.
• GMAW experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits.
• Positions, aligns, and welds parts per blueprints and layout specs using machinery and hand tools.
• Read welding symbols and prepare joints as required; use AWS D1.1 standards.
