Qualifications

• Capable of setting up and maintaining welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate safety equipment and follow safe work habits.
• Position, align, and weld parts to form structures per blueprints.
• Read blueprints and interpret welding symbols.
• Move parts using hoists or cranes and inspect welds for specs.
• Prepare joints as required by AWS D1.1 and weld in flat position.
• Use grinders and repair welds and inspect for defects.
