Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an Overnight Stocker in Minnesota to keep shelves full and organized for our customers each morning. You’ll unload trucks, stock, rotate products, and assist customers while maintaining a fast-paced overnight workflow.

No prior experience is required; we provide training and support. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to safety and dress standards in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Follow written and verbal instructions with confidence.
• Use basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates in a friendly, helpful way.
• Stay organized and keep up with the pace of a busy overnight shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; up to six months of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need.
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and passing along feedback or requests to the team.
• Unload trucks, open containers, stock shelves, rotate product to ensure freshness.
• Monitor for mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries, and report issues accordingly.
• Organize stock for greatest efficiency and clean and restock any damaged items.
• Tag shelves with overstock in the back room and understock drawers.
• Report new or different items to the scanning coordinator for system input.
• Work alongside teammates to ensure a smooth, efficient overnight operation.
