Job summary

Hy-Vee in Cottage Grove, MN is seeking an Overnight Stocker to keep shelves full and organized for customers each morning. You’ll unload trucks, rotate stock, tag shelves, and keep the backroom orderly while collaborating with the overnight team.

Qualifications

• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Stay organized and keep up with pace of overnight shift.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with confidence.
• Use basic math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; up to six months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find what they need.
• Assist customers with finding products and feedback to the team.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products for freshness.
• Monitor for mis-picked items, product outs, and report issues.
• Organize stock efficiently and restock damaged items.
• Tag shelves with overstock/understock and report to scanner coordinator.
• Work with teammates to ensure smooth overnight operations.
• Maintain Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene, and policies.
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed.
