Job summary

Pickerington Methodist Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech (Non-Certified) for the night shift 11pm–7:30am. You will decontaminate, clean, and sterilize instruments, prepare packaging, and support instrument tracking and case readiness.

You’ll work with OR staff and external vendors, follow AAMI/AORN guidelines, and help train peers while ensuring safety and efficiency in a high-reliability environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or GED is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean and sterilize instruments per standards.
• Prepare and package instrumentation; monitor sterilization equipment.
• Maintain records and assist in training peers.
• Interact with operating rooms and external customers.
