Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Sterile Processing Instrument Technician to work the nights shift in Decontamination, Processing, and Sterilization. You will ensure instruments are cleaned, inspected, tested, assembled, and documented according to Manufacturer's Instructions for Use and hospital policies.

The role requires basic computer skills and adherence to PPE, with opportunities for sign-on bonus upon CRCST certification and a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• Prior healthcare related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize instrumentation for processing.
• Answer telephones and dispatch instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Follow Manufacturer's Instructions for Use in Decontamination, Processing, High Level Disinfection & Sterilization.
• Maintain documentation on logs or computer systems.
