• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous staffing experience and/or knowledge of healthcare environment.
• Beginning knowledge of PCs and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a manner that projects a positive image of the department and hospital.
• Works with supervisor/manager and other members to promote a harmonious work environment.
• Ensures all contacts with patients, the public, physicians and hospital personnel are friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate.
• Answers telephones promptly and courteously and explains procedures when appropriate.
• Identifies and helps resolve problems with customers and callers.
