Job summary

Antech Diagnostics in New York is seeking a Specimen Processor to receive, prepare, and process lab samples. The role supports accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, with specific duties including data entry and inventory management.

Shift is 11pm-5:30am Mon-Sat with training 12am-7am; target pay is $22.12 per hour. Prior lab experience and attention to detail are valued as part of a collaborative team dedicated to animal health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; science-related classes preferred.
• 0-1 years related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare samples for laboratory analyses.
• Process standard requisitions per approved procedures at expected rates.
• Label samples, enter data, and aliquot for testing.
• Scan tubes into storage racks; ensure accuracy of specimen data.
• Ensure Turn Around Times (TATs) are met; maintain clean, organized workspace.
