Antech Diagnostics is seeking a detail-oriented Specimen Processor to receive, prepare, and process samples for laboratory analyses. The role supports multiple tests, ensuring accurate data entry and timely results as part of a collaborative diagnostic team.

Responsibilities include handling specimens, labeling, aliquoting, scanning into racks, and assisting other lab personnel. High school diploma required; 0–1 years preferred. Weekend work required with specific night hours.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with science related classes.
• 0-1 years related work experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and prepare samples for laboratory analyses.
• Process standard requisitions at expected rates.
• Label and aliquot samples as needed for multiple testing.
• Search lab storage and ensure samples are scanned into racks.
• Sort samples for distribution to different tests (Coggins, cytology, etc.).
• Enter specimen data and verify accuracy in the database.
• Accession various sample types for processing.
• Assist with specimen storage and maintain OSHA safety.
• Ensure Turn Around Times (TATs) are met.
• Follow SOPs and maintain a clean workspace; restock supplies.
• Consult with senior peers on non-complex tasks to learn.
