Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Specimen Processor to handle receiving, preparing, and processing samples for the department. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and accurate data entry in a fast-paced lab environment.

Shift is 11pm–7:30am Monday–Saturday with two days off weekly; weekend coverage is required. Target pay is $18.41 per hour, with pay decisions based on skills, experience, education, and budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Science-related classes or exposure preferred.
• Good data entry and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives and prepares samples for laboratory analyses.
• Processes standard requisitions according to procedures.
• Enter specimen data and label samples; aliquot as needed.
• Sorts samples for distribution to lab sections (e.g., cytology).
• Maintain clean, organized work area and restock supplies.
• Ensure Turn Around Times (TATs) are met and follow SOPs.
