Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of clinical experience with specimens or related coursework preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, sort, and deliver laboratory specimens.
• Print and affix patient ID labels to specimens.
• Prioritize work and route STAT specimens promptly.
• Communicate specimen priorities to testing personnel to support turnaround times.
• Respond to inquiries from clinicians and laboratory staff.
• Support efficient flow of specimens throughout the lab.
