Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a part-time Specimen Processing Technician in Delaware for the day shift (20 hours/week) with every other weekend and some holidays. You will support pre- and post-analytical functions for specimens in the General Laboratory. Prior lab experience or equivalent science coursework is required.

• Prioritize incoming work, ensuring samples for stat testing are delivered to the appropriate laboratory section in order to maintain stated turnaround times

The work hours are: Part-time Day Shift 20 hours per week 7:00am - 3:30pm and every other weekend 6:30am - 3:00pm 2-3 holidays per year.

In this role you will perform pre and post analytical functions that support the testing of specimens received in the General Laboratory. Your resume must be attached to your application, and you must have prior lab experience or equivalent science coursework to be considered.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.48 - $28.24

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
