Job summary

Bloom Energy in Fremont, CA is seeking a Spare Parts Coordinator for an on-site night shift (6pm–6am, Thu–Sat and alternating Wed). You will manage spare parts inventory, coordinate with vendors, and optimize purchasing to control costs while supporting maintenance operations.

The role requires strong communication, extensive experience with inventory and procurement, and proficiency with Oracle, MS Word, and Excel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience with inventory management/parts procurement for maintenance org.
• Experience in skilled trades or technical spares.
• Excellent communication skills, (written, verbal and active listening).
• Able to work in Oracle for parts procurement (Agile experience a plus).
• 5+ years experience in working with vendors to generate parts quote for parts procurement.
• Intermediate skill level with MS Word and Excel. PowerPoint proficiency a plus.
• Highly motivated self-starter, capable of self management with little to no oversight.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock of spare parts inventory for maintenance team.
• Communicate with vendors/manufacturers to acquire needed spares.
• Search for parts and find better deals to reduce spending costs.
• Set up and organize & maintain maintenance spares.
• Manage backorders.
• Submit monthly reports to Maintenance Manager on spending towards the maintenance budget.
• Utilize CMMS for parts inventory management, tracking and invoicing.
• Coordinate receiving orders with our shipping/receiving group.
• Support equipment engineering group.
• Generate reports concerning budget, invoicing vs. open PO’s, etc.
