Job summary

Silfab Solar is seeking a Production Operator in Cell Manufacturing for the Pitman Night Shift at our Fort Mill, SC facility. You will operate your assigned station safely and efficiently to produce high‑quality solar cells, following cleanroom and contamination‑control standards.

Responsibilities include loading wafers, operating equipment, inspecting cells, labeling, packing finished products, and recording production data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Production or manufacturing experience preferred; cleanroom experience is an asset.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English.
• Experience handling wafers or high‑value materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and semi‑automatic cell‑manufacturing equipment according to station SWI.
• Follow cleanroom gowning, ESD, and contamination‑control requirements.
• Load, handle, and move wafers and cells with proper technique.
• Perform in‑process quality checks and tests as required.
• Record production and downtime information on station paperwork.
• Maintain 5S standards and department policies.
