Job summary

Silfab Solar is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Pitman Day Shift in Fort Mill, SC. You will lead production staff, ensure safety, and maintain quality while meeting production goals.

You will mentor staff, optimize line performance, and collaborate with maintenance to maximize uptime. This role requires hands-on leadership and a commitment to Lean practices within a fast-paced solar module environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of production experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of process improvement, budgeting, and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations staff follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
• Provide ongoing training and technical assistance to staff.
• Report defective/non-conforming product and perform quality checks.
• Maintain traceability of products using Data Collection System.
• Meet production schedules and monitor KPIs.
• Oversee material stock levels and ordering as needed.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Communicate shift information to next shift and management.
• Identify and propose process improvements to increase yield and efficiency.
• Be prepared to work overtime as required.
