Job summary

Richard Fleischman & Associates is seeking a SOC Analyst to monitor security data across clients, analyze alerts from SIEM and EDR tools, and recommend containment steps. The role operates in a 24x7 SOC environment, with a Sunday-Thursday shift (6pm–3:30am PHT).

You will document incident lifecycles, coordinate with teammates, support vulnerability scanning, and contribute to ongoing improvements within RFA's MDR infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in Security/Network Admin or equivalent.
• Knowledge of security methodologies and firewall/ IDS.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, network analysis, security apps.
• Understanding of common Internet protocols.
• Security+ or InfoSec cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor in a 24x7 SOC environment.
• Analyze data from SIEM and EDR to detect threats.
• Investigate and escalate incidents following procedures.
• Document activities and provide status updates during incidents.
• Collaborate with analysts for situational awareness.
• Support vulnerability scanning and network mapping.
• Assist with process improvements and client inquiries.
