Job summary

DMI, LLC is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to monitor, detect, and analyze cybersecurity events across client environments. You will develop alarms, correlate events, and escalate incidents to clients while supporting the Incident Response Team.

The role requires hands-on SIEM experience (e.g., Splunk), threat hunting, and familiarity with security tools. The position is based in Crownsville, MD with day and night shift options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience analyzing intrusion events and threat activity using SIEMs.
• Knowledge of cyber-attack frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, kill chain).
• Experience with network security monitoring and threat hunting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and analyze security events and threats.
• Develop alarms and SIEM rules; escalate critical alerts to clients.
• Prepare reports summarizing detected activities and incidents.
• Support incident response with containment and eradication steps.
