Farnell, an Avnet company, seeks a Security Operations Analyst I to join the 24/7 SOC. You will monitor security alerts, perform initial incident triage, and support response efforts across EDR, NDR, and SIEM tools.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in cybersecurity or a related field and up to 2 years of experience, with strong analytical skills and solid communication. This role requires rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related technical discipline.
• < 2 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, monitoring and incident response.
• Basic understanding of common threats, vulnerabilities and attack techniques.
• Familiarity with security monitoring and investigation concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor security alerts and events, perform initial analysis and respond to incidents.
• Assist in initial triage of security incidents and escalate as needed.
• Investigate alerts from EDR/NDR/SIEM and document findings.
• Provide structured shift handovers and review cases from prior shifts.
• Contribute to security documentation and incident response plans.
• Stay current with threats and participate in training and development.
