Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver for night shifts, typically starting around 7:00 pm. This role involves transporting empty trailers to warehouse locations, turning around to deliver full trailers, and adhering to DOT regulations.

You will interact professionally with customers and co-workers and perform safety checks and paperwork completion. The job requires 8 months of commercial driving experience, a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, and the ability to lift 60–90 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 8 months of commercial driving experience required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• 3rd shift schedule: Sunday–Thursday nights (shifts may vary).
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds and handle equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Maintain route paperwork and ensure it's available at dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers per schedule; hook/unhook per safety guidelines.
• Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas; secure all cargo.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs and comply with regulations.
• Perform general housekeeping and assist with other duties as assigned.
