Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will operate tandem, tractor-trailer, or straight trucks on intrastate/interstate routes, complying with DOT regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, documentation, route adherence, and securing Freight. Requires a CDL A with doubles endorsement, 21+ years old, and a clean MVR; night shifts

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1 year or more commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Pre/post trip safety checks per DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to route schedule and DOT guidelines.
• Handle hook/unhook procedures and secure freight.
• Maintain required route paperwork and daily hours-of-service logs.
• Perform general housekeeping in tractor and dock areas and assist as needed.
