Job summary

ADESA is hiring at our Boise facility for a gate security associate. You will be the face of ADESA at the gates, control access, greet customers, and help ensure the safety of people, vehicles, and assets.

Role requires 1-2 years in customer service, ability to work night shifts (Friday–Sunday as needed), and comfort with data entry on handheld devices. Starting pay is $19–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience within a customer service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
• Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.
• Ability to accurately enter data on a handheld device or computer.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Secure all gates and buildings and patrol the premises.
• Verify only authorized individuals enter the property.
• Check gate passes to ensure vehicles are authorized to exit property.
• Greet customers at the gate and provide prompt and courteous service.
• De-escalate difficult situations to maintain positive partner relationships.
• Maintain a professional appearance and orderly work environment.
• Support inventory control procedures as needed.
• Maintain safety information and emergency contact lists.
