Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a Gate/Inventory Control Associate at our Clayton, NC location. You will be the face of ADESA at the gate, ensuring security, customer service, and accurate vehicle location research using handheld devices.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support inventory control procedures and maintain professional conduct in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 18 years or older with a valid driver's license,

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods and operate in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Secure gates and buildings; patrol premises and respond to emergencies.
• Verify authorized entry; provide directions to customers and vendors.
• Check gate passes and verify vehicle exit permissions.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service; resolve complaints.
• De-escalate difficult situations and collaborate with partners.
• Maintain equipment, facilities, and safety information; report maintenance needs.
