Job summary

Schreiber Foods in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a full-time night shift sanitation technician. The position runs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on a rotating schedule with a starting pay of $26.25 per hour, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, a $1 night shift premium, and an $1 weekend premium, plus benefits from day one.

Responsibilities include cleaning, CIP equipment maintenance, environmental monitoring, chemical handling, safety compliance, and collaboration with production teams to support sanitation turnover and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing or sanitation preferred.
• Forklift, pallet jack, and floor scrubber certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks per the Master Sanitation and Deep Cleaning Schedules.
• Perform preventive maintenance on CIP equipment.
• Investigate pre-operational failures and document root cause analyses.
• Carry out pathogen environmental monitoring activities.
• Complete necessary PEM documentation in the quality management system.
