Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a sanitation associate for the 3rd shift (10 PM - 4 AM or 1 AM - 7 AM) with a starting pay of 22.35 USD per hour. Benefits begin on day one and on‑the‑job training is provided.

The role includes cleaning, equipment teardown, and setup before production starts; duties expand under supervision as needed. The candidate should be able to work unsupervised, handle wet/cold environments, and lift 10–50 lbs while following safety policies and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math functions and skills.
• Poultry experience preferred but not required.
• Basic Chemical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize all machinery and areas assigned to.
• Tear down machinery at beginning of cleanup shift.
• Help setup before production starts up in the morning.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor, area leader and Sanitation Manager.
• Do all tasks assigned by members of management.
• Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
