Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, TX is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shift (12X3) on a 36‑hour week, with weekend rotation. The RRT will manage ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen and aerosol therapy for adult and neonatal patients.

The role requires graduated respiratory care education, current BLS/ACLS, and NBRC-registered status with TX licensure. Experience and neonate care are valued, and responsibilities include patient assessment and equipment

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Performs respiratory therapeutics including oxygen delivery, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy and ventilation support.
• Performs and reports arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry and pulmonary function tests.
• Interprets chest x-ray, ABG and PFT data during patient assessments.
• Maintains and troubleshoots cardiopulmonary equipment and devices.
• Participates in infection control, safety and quality assurance activities.
