Mercy is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders at Saint Louis, MO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• PALS for ER staff when applicable.
• ACLS preferred; critical care experience preferred.
• Physical demands: lift/carry up to 50 lbs; kneel and crouch as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
