Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across respiratory therapies at Saint Louis, MO, following physician orders and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff.

You will serve as an advanced resource, assess therapy effectiveness, and perform duties as assigned, including night shifts with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits from day one and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ACLS preferred.
• PALS required for ER staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
