Job summary

Advocate Health, based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shift (7p–7a) to provide respiratory care across departments using evidence-based protocols. This role offers a sign-on bonus and requires NBRC RRT credentials and active state licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy; associate degree required.
• RRT credentialing and NBRC certification required.
• Current licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Administers oxygen delivery and prescribed therapeutic procedures to achieve adequate oxygenation.
• Performs diagnostic procedures as outlined in policy.
• Initiates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilators; aware of critical care duties.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes recommendations on plans of care and patient education.
• Documents therapy and results; communicates with the healthcare team.
