Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for full-time night shifts. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, airway management, and mechanical ventilation support.

You will deliver oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, and chest physiotherapy, while monitoring responses and coordinating with providers. Eligible candidates should hold NBRC/RRT certification and a two-year AMA-approved respiratory care program.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree or equivalent).
• NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support; ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support; PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support; NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure; conduct diagnostics to evaluate respiratory therapy needs and responses.
• Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with placement of artificial airways; initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient response and notify provider; intervene for any unintended responses.
• Assist transportation of ventilator-dependent patients.
• Respond to emergent situations to maintain airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation.
