Job summary

Eligible candidates should have an Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy (BSRT preferred) and current state licensure, with sign-on bonus eligibility noted.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required (or equivalent experience). BA/BS or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in various oxygen delivery modes and equipment.
• Administers and evaluates prescribed respiratory therapies.
• Initiates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes care recommendations.
• Documents therapy results and communicates with the healthcare team.
• Performs blood sampling analysis and interprets results.
• Works independently in multiple patient care areas and uses EMR.
• Follows safety guidelines and completes regulatory requirements.
