Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the System Transfer Center during the night shift. You will handle patient transfers from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, coordinating with surgery, ED, and nursing units to place patients efficiently.

Require Ohio RN licensure with BSN preferred, ACLS/CPR, and at least 5 years of nursing experience (2 in critical care). Weekend, holiday, and on-call work are expected as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN degree preferred.
• Licensure: Licensed as an RN in the state of Ohio.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years nursing experience, 2 years critical care preferred.
• ACLS and CPR certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the successful transfer and placement of patients entering via the Transfer Center.
• Communicate with surgery, emergency, nursing units, and bed schedulers to ensure timely placement.
• Use standard Nursing Process within Mount Carmel Health System policies and guidelines.
• Be available to work weekends, holidays, and on-call as scheduled.
