Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Dublin, OH seeks a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care on a 12-hour night shift. The RN will administer medications, perform basic procedures, and support a multidisciplinary care team in a state-of-the-art inpatient unit.

The ideal candidate is a graduate nurse with an Ohio RN license and current BLS/CPR certification, capable of planning and coordinating patient care using an EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as an RN in Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients; assist with provider assessments, examinations and treatments; perform basic procedures.
• Administer medications under provider direction according to policies and procedures.
• Assist in emergency situations as directed by the provider.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and procedures; explain care plans clearly.
• Document accurately and completely patient assessments, interventions and outcomes per standards.
