Job summary

JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the P5 Surgical Trauma unit on night shifts. This full-time role resides in the Critical Care division and requires skilled assessment, care planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The RN will provide leadership at night, manage complex trauma cases, and participate in handoffs, documentation, and discharge planning according to EMTALA and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or higher degree from an accredited program.
• Current Texas RN licensure or reciprocity within 90 days.
• RN I/II/III/IV experience levels with ranges.
• Current BLS; ACLS within 3 months; NIHSS within 90 days.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess, direct, implement and provide quality patient care.
• Monitor patient condition and vital signs; intervene as needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning with family and care team.
• Document accurately in medical records and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with care team and maintain hand-off communications.

Education
