Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in nursing or enrollment in a bridge program.
• Current Texas nursing licensure or valid Nurse Licensure Compact.
• BLS certification with American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient assessments including psychosocial and cultural needs.
• Prioritize care plans and communicate changes to the health care team.
• Participate in rounds and care conferences, documenting in the medical record.
• Administer medications and treatments in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate flexibility and effective interpersonal skills with patients and families.
