Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking an RN Supervisor for Med Surg ICU to oversee planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of patient care in designated areas. This role serves as a clinical resource for the staff and patients and may function as staff nurse when needed.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program degree, an active RN license in Missouri or compact state, BLS certification within 30 days of hire, and at least 2 years of patient-care experience; supervisory

Qualifications

• RN license in Missouri or compact state.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• At least 2 years of patient-care experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
