Job summary

Eastern Healthcare Group is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care in a Virginia long-term care setting. The role focuses on clinical leadership, regulatory adherence, and efficient coordination across RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during assigned shifts.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in Virginia is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience in long-term care or geriatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the delivery of nursing care to ensure quality, safety, and resident dignity.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident conditions and address concerns.
• Coordinate and supervise implementation of resident care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate care and documentation.
• Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) during assigned shifts.
• Provide guidance, direction, and clinical support as needed.
• Participate in staff evaluations, corrective actions, and ongoing development.
• Ensure proper shift hand-offs, documentation, and communication between teams.
