Roman Eagle Memorial Home is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our nursing team in a fast-paced health care setting. This role focuses on fostering clinical excellence, mentoring staff, and ensuring high-quality care for our residents in a long-term care environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active Virginia RN license, has at least one year of nursing leadership experience, and is committed to mentoring staff and improving resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• At least one year of nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing staff during assigned shift, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care that meets clinical and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate staffing assignments and maintain appropriate nursing coverage.
• Monitor resident conditions and facilitate timely communication with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, care planning, chart audits, and incident investigations.
• Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff through orientation, training, and performance management.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes.
• Serve as the nursing leader on duty in the absence of nursing administration.
