Job summary

Copper Ridge Nursing & Assisted Living Center is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations on a night shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. You will support the Director of Nursing, ensure quality resident care, and manage staffing, compliance, and documentation to achieve positive outcomes.

The role requires active RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and experience supervising nursing staff in a long-term care setting. CMS guidelines on vaccinations are noted in the policy.

Qualifications

• Current state nursing licensure
• BLS/CPR certification
• In-depth knowledge of nursing care methods and health and safety guidelines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience supervising GNA’s and LPN's in a nursing home setting

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor residents’ health and assess their needs to provide quality care
• Work with physicians to create individual care plans and assist with procedures
• Maintain healthcare records and reports using PCC per best practices
• Supervise and train LPNs and GNAs on staff
• Administer medication and provide emergency medical care when necessary
• Ensure facility hygiene and cleanliness
• Coordinate with DON for staffing coverage and minimize overtime
• Oversee admissions readiness and notify physicians of health changes
• Investigate patient/family complaints and resolve issues
